The World Is Charged With the Grandeur of God

Beauty surrounds us as the grandeur of summer turns to the radiance of fall.   Here in Milwaukee, WI  fall comes to us in a beautiful aray of colors as leaves  put on their magnificent multi-colored coats.  Gerald Manley Hopkins wrote, “The world is charged with the grandeur of God.”  However we name our God, whatever our relationship with God, we are invited to open ourselves to grandeur of  the Divine  presence in our everyday lives.   This loving presence is all around us and within us.  Yes,  even in moments of pain, uncertainly, and sadness, the presence of the Divine enfolds us.   Pause for a moment, take a deep breath, be aware of what you need at this moment.  In the midst of  the moments and experiences of  this day, know that the grandeur of  God’s loving and tender presence is with you. Blessings and peace this day.
